Tottenham turned down Bayern’s previous offer of £60m ($77m) plus add-ons to acquire Kane last month. However, the Bundesliga champions have now come back with an enhanced bid of £70m ($90m) plus add-ons for the England captain, as reported by Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg. Plettenberg further stated that the 29-year-old is resolute in his desire to join Thomas Tuchel’s team.

Ange Postecoglou, the new manager of Spurs, is scheduled to meet with Kane for the first time this week. Postecoglou acknowledged that he has received no assurances regarding Kane’s future. Former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor believes that Kane is interested in a move to Germany, questioning why Bayern would make a bid if he wasn’t interested.

According to Agbonlahor, clubs typically communicate with a player’s agents before making a bid. He drew from his own experience, stating that if a player doesn’t want to leave, bids wouldn’t be submitted. Agbonlahor argued that Bayern Munich wouldn’t make offers if Kane didn’t want to go. He also criticized Kane for remaining silent about his future, stating that it’s unfair to the Spurs fans.

Agbonlahor suggested that there should be a cutoff point, such as July 20th, where if Kane isn’t sold by then, he should stay. He emphasized the importance of clear communication between Daniel Levy, the owner, and Kane for the sake of the manager, Postecoglou. Agbonlahor proposed that if Bayern Munich doesn’t meet the £100m price tag by the cutoff point, the matter should be resolved, rather than dragging it on until the transfer window closes. He highlighted the potential crisis for Spurs if they are left with Richarlison, who scored only one goal in 27 games. Agbonlahor expressed his concern about the situation, stressing that it’s unfair to the fans and Kane’s teammates. He also expressed his dissatisfaction with Kane’s silence.
