Former Liverpool striker Sadio Mané seemed poised for a departure from Bayern Munich this summer, fueling speculation of a potential return to the Premier League. However, the Senegalese football star has faced setbacks in the Bundesliga since his £35.1 million move from Liverpool to Munich last year.

Disappointed by his underwhelming debut season in Germany, Bayern Munich is now open to the idea of selling the player and capitalizing on his transfer. Reports from Sky Germany indicate that the club is actively seeking to offload Mané during this transfer window, with interest emerging from Saudi Arabia. Despite these developments, no formal negotiations have taken place thus far, and the player himself recently expressed his desire to continue his journey in Bavaria.

In a recent interview with Senegalese broadcaster 2sTV, Mané was asked about the rumors linking him with a move away from Bayern, particularly in light of the club’s reported interest in Tottenham’s Harry Kane. As reported by German newspaper Bild, Mané responded, “Yes, God willing. If everything goes well, I will return to Bayern.”
