These included insurance charges of Rs 23,592, an introductory kit priced at Rs 8,500, delivery charges amounting to Rs 17,000, RTO charges of Rs 3,937, RSA costs of Rs 6,016, and a road tax of Rs 46,553. With an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.33 lakh, the cumulative effect of these charges brought the on-road price to Rs 3,38,598. The contents of the introductory kit and the reason behind the high delivery charges remained unclear at that time. However, all ambiguities were set to be resolved by July 10 when Triumph would officially disclose the on-road price, leaving no room for confusion.The company has not yet released any on-road pricing guidelines, which will be determined according to its other products and industry standards. It will be announced by July 10. The Speed 400 has been launched in Delhi with an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.23 lakh for the first 10,000 customers, after which its regular ex-showroom price will be Rs 2.33 lakh.
